Medifast Diet - My Experience
A popular diet program, Medifast focuses on meal replacements. You can eat and lose pounds, without worrying about calorie counts or carb percentages. I went through the program and had great results!
Medifast started out as a meal replacement plan only available through doctors or nutritionists. It is now available through its own website with more choices and more satisfaction for clients to lose weight.
The meals are available in vegetarian varieties, for seniors, for diabetics, people with gout or a more general Men’s and Women’s plan.
Medifast is considered a high protein and low calorie weight loss program. With the high protein you can retain valuable muscle mass and still lose about 2-5 pounds a week. Retaining that muscle mass will help you burn more calories through the day.
Having a Medifast replacement meal every few hours will maintain your blood sugar levels and control hunger throughout the day. The Medifast meal replacement program is more of an eating plan than others.
Costs?
Everyone worries about the costs of a meal replacement program. All you need for the program is included in the diet - no other vitamins or supplements. Available through the web site is a 2 weeks free plan to get you started losing weight.
Support?
A diet program needs support so you can be successful. Some just need the basics and some information, others need more. The Medifast plan is a complete solution for that too. Support is available through your doctor’s office, online through the Medifast website or through the network of health coaches on the “Take Shape For Life” network. Phone support is also available if that’s easier for you. You can lose the pounds with as much or as little support as you need.
The Medifast meal replacement plan has been around for years with a doctor’s help. It’s successful for so many people because of that reason - they’ve had over 25 years to get it right.
